You see what happens when you try to be fundamentally sound on defense??? Don’t try to be a hero and take a charge. There’s only a 50% chance the ref will call it your way. I’d rather not take those odds. You might end up getting nutted on! Like Jarrett Johnson did to this guy, who shall remain nameless.

So I came across this bit of information this evening on the news, and I had to do a double take. Michael Jordan now has his own signature steaks that you can order online through his website www.michaeljordansteaks.com. It’s pretty crazy…They got 3 categories that you can choose from: Legend, Champion, and 23Sport Steaks that differ based on the style, cut and quality of the beef. They have some creative names of packages that you can order like The Full Court Press, or The Dream Team. There’s even special marinades and sauces that you can purchase that will help you improve your jump shot. Just kidding. But check out the website, you can order these steaks online. I can see it now…next thing you know they got some limited edition steaks that come in a Countdown Pack that you can purchase in every colorway that you can imagine. They’ll also have some steaks available in a Fusion pack with Beef & Chicken that are only available at select retailers. Hey maybe they’ll even have a steak available with the elephant print on it. You laugh now, but it just might happen. I’m playin! Seriously, I’m curious to taste the quality of this beef though. Big ups to MJ!
A few weeks back Kobe Bryant appeared on video during the popular game show Deal or No Deal. Kobe offered the contestant, Davon Clark (a huge Kobe & Laker fan), 2 tickets to a Lakers home game, a trip to Hawaii to watch 1 training camp practice and 2 exhibition game in Hawaii, hang out with Kobe after one of the games and an autographed pair of Kobe’s shoe (Nike Zoom Kobe III). All Davon had to do was accept the $388,000 deal. What would you do? Davon did the sensible thing and took the deal. Like he said, “Don’t be greedy!” Great job Davon.
