Yes, yes y’all. Once again Bball Junkies makes it on Bounce Magazines’ online website. Check out the post courtesy of Jeremy Ripley entitled, “Bball Junkies Unite - Hoops Is Life”. It’s the second time we’ve been featured on the website. You can check out the old post entitled, “Bball Junkies Represent”. And for the record, my man Bobbito was the first to rock the Trotter Tee. Big ups to the team at Bounce Magazine for keepin’ us well informed. I can’t wait for the next issue to drop…looking forward to it. If you haven’t subscribed yet, you gotta get it. Also, be on the look out for the BBJ Fall 08-09 season which will drop in September.
Here’s some more footage on that upcoming Spike Lee Joint on the life of Kobe Bryant. In case you missed it on ESPN’s E:60, you can check it out on their website www.e60.com. They got some great video footage of other sports figures and topics if you want to check it out and the quality of the videos are dope. Peep it out!
This commercial has been out during the NBA playoffs for a while now. It’s a trailer for Adam Sandler’s new movie coming out June 6th called “You Don’t Mess With The Zohan”. It’s a spin off from the NBA’s “There can only be one” campaign, where you got Adam Sandler and Golden State Warrior point guard Baron Davis on the screen. You might have seen it while watching some of the playoff games and if you haven’t…check it out. It’s hilarious! Barack Obama and Hilary Clinton used this same ad on the cover of Time Magazine.
There’s this dope online magazine that you gotta check out called Inquiringmind Magazine which features Nike’s very own Tinker Hatfield this month. If you haven’t seen any of their articles yet, you have to read this one. Tinker Hatfield is the shoe designer that brought you many of the illest Jordan sneakers, most notably the Jordan III, which is one of my favorites. Check out this issue: Tinker Hatfield - The Modern Day Renaissance on Inquiringmind to get to know the man behind the designs.
Check out this interview done by Wordcup with my man Bobbito Garcia when he was out in Berlin at the Be True Dunkspace. The interview talks about his lifestyle, his passion for sneakers and his work ethic. He also talks about his upcoming projects and how being organized is the key to being a jack-of-all-trades.
Congratulations Kobe on earning the NBA’s Most Valuable Player award for the first time! It’s been long overdue. It’s about time they recognize! Don’t hate…Congratulate! (Photo courtesy: NBAE Getty Images)
